I carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
I carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
This poem means a lot for me. This poem expresses the mix of feelings that I have always carried or carry in my heart to the ones that are my friends and to the ones that once were. For me, this poem is so revealing that every time that I read it, I start to cry. It's powerful. Where I met this poem? In a movie where Cameron Diaz acts as a trouble sister that is always making the life of her elder sister miserable. Many things happens between their relationship that they teared apart, hating each other. Later on, they kind of make paces slowly to gain the trust and Cameron Diaz dedicate this poem to her sister in her wedding. When I heard it, I started to cry because I couldn't believe there was such a powerful and strong poem that could describe so perfectly all the emotions that are settled in my heart. I looked for this poem on the net, I printed, and I have it in my favorite poems journal. Life have mysterious ways to show us that feelings are the ones that makes us humans. This poem showed me a path...a path that I've been hesitating to take and endure. What will reveal this path? I don't know, that's the secret of life. May be, that's why the stars are apart. Enjoy it.
