Poem: Help Wanted: A Missing Friend in Action!

It's been lonely here without you
I've been shivering with cold
without your hugs
No more kisses on the cheek
or playful battles which I always lost.
Your attention is on the planets
really far from my universe.
I'm still here
watching you grow wild in another garden
Hoping for the best
wishing you joy and happiness
but I'm still here, savvy?
Just letting you know
that even if the currents of the sea
tears us apart, or if you are exploring
new universes.
I'm still here-not cross handed-
as you will think, no, never for you
but with my arms wide open
waiting for my friend to return.
